Central New York's Most Established Skydiving Center - Celebrating 40 years!
Welcome to Skydive Finger Lakes! Here at the Ovid Airport we've been putting skydivers in the air since 1982. Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region, our dropzone has the most incredible views in Central and Upstate New York. Have you ever wanted to see Canandaigua, Keuka, Seneca, Cayuga, Owasco and Skaneateles Lakes from the sky? This is the only place to make it happen!
We welcome first-time skydivers and experienced fun jumpers of all skill levels at Skydive Finger Lakes. Our services include tandem skydiving, sport jumping, and student training programs for those wishing to become licensed skydivers.
Owners Jeff and Em Foster are dedicated to providing each student with the safest, best, and most thrilling skydiving experience possible. With our unbeatable views of the region, happy atmosphere, highly experienced staff, and easy access from Ithaca, Rochester, Syracuse, and the surrounding metro areas, we honestly believe there is no better place to experience the thrill of skydiving Central New York than Skydive Finger Lakes.
You're Welcome Here
Skydive Finger Lakes is an affiliate of CAMP Unity!
This means we strive to CHALLENGE bigotry in all its forms, ACT on values, MENTOR others and PROMOTE unity in skydiving.
All skydivers (and future skydivers) who are committed to treating others with respect are welcome here, regardless of gender, skin color, age, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, or citizenship status. A tolerant society cannot be tolerant of intolerance: we don't accept racism, sexism, homo- or transphobia.
Skydivers are a strange, diverse bunch- that's what makes us great. We're passionate about creating new skydivers of all kinds.

It was so fantastic that I have decided to do the student training program they have available where you work your way up to solo jumps.
