Skydive Finger Lakes operates out of the historic Ovid Airport, identifier D-82, located 2 ½ miles south east of the village of Ovid on Parish Road. This privately owned airport has been supporting public aviation and skydiving in Central New York since 1961 and Skydive Finger Lakes is proud to be part of that continuing tradition.
Because the airport is privately owned, there are no camping prohibitions! Our cabins are almost always filled with staff, but you're more than welcome to bring a tent and hang out for the night or the weekend. No reservation is required but it would be great if you could give us a heads up the day before.
Our clubhouse is equipped with a full kitchen, showers, laundry, and high speed internet for the comfort of our staff and visiting fun jumpers. The recently rebuilt back half of the building serves as the packing floor and classroom, and a rigging loft is under construction.
